Freight / Threshold Delivery (For Large, Boxed Items)
Ideal For: Large, heavy items that require a freight truck for transport, such as some non-folding hospital beds, ramps, and heavy-duty rollators. These items are delivered in their original manufacturer’s packaging.
- Carriers Used: Specialized regional and national freight carriers (e.g., Estes, XPO Logistics, R+L Carriers).
- Delivery Process:
- Once your item arrives at the freight terminal nearest you, the carrier will call you to schedule a specific delivery date.
- On the scheduled day, the truck will arrive. The driver is responsible for getting the item to your threshold, typically the first dry, level surface inside your home (e.g., just inside the front door). They will not unpack, assemble, or remove packaging.
- It is crucial that you inspect the box for any apparent signs of damage before the driver leaves. Note any concerns on the delivery receipt.
- Cost: The cost for freight shipping is variable and is based on the item’s size, weight, and your location. The exact cost is clearly calculated and displayed during the checkout process before you finalize your payment.
- Transit Time: Please allow 5-7 business days for transit after the item leaves our warehouse, plus time for the local terminal to schedule your delivery.
White Glove Delivery Service (For Complex Equipment, Premium Option)

The Full White Glove Process:
- Scheduling: After your item ships from our facility, our White Glove partner will contact you within 1–2 business days to schedule a precise, convenient delivery window.
- Delivery & Inspection: On your scheduled day, a team of (usually) two specialists will arrive and bring the item to the room of your choice.
- Unboxing & Assembly: They will carefully uncrate your product, assemble it according to manufacturer specifications, and install any batteries or accessories.
- Testing & Tutorial: The team will perform a basic functional test to ensure everything is operating correctly and provide a brief tutorial so you feel confident using your equipment.
- Cleanup & Removal: All cardboard, wrapping, and packaging materials are removed, leaving your home clean and tidy.
- Paperwork: You’ll sign a delivery confirmation stating that the service was completed to your satisfaction.
Cost: We offer premium White Glove delivery service at a flat rate of $450. This fee is clearly displayed on all eligible product pages and transparently itemized in your shopping cart—so you always know what to expect before checkout.

A Realistic Look at Our Shipping & Processing Timelines
We believe in managing expectations. Here’s a detailed timeline from the moment you place your order.
Step 1: Order Processing (1-2 Business Days)
- After you place your order, our team gets to work. This includes order verification, payment processing, a final quality assurance check, and careful, secure packaging for its journey. Most orders are processed and leave our warehouse within 48 hours.
- Step 2: Order Shipping & Tracking
- Once the carrier scans your package, you will receive an automated email with your tracking number(s) and a direct link to monitor your shipment’s progress in real-time.
- Step 3: In Transit & Delivery
- Standard Shipping: 3-5 business days after shipment.
- Freight/White Glove Service: 5-7 business days in transit after leaving our warehouse. Please note: For White Glove and Freight services, the transit time is followed by an additional 2-4 days for the local carrier to receive the item and call you to schedule the final delivery appointment. We appreciate your patience during this scheduling phase.
- Step 4: Custom and “Built-to-Order” Items:
- Some products, like highly customized ultralightweight wheelchairs or specific colors of lift chairs, are built specifically for you by the manufacturer. These items have longer lead times, often between 2 and 5 weeks. If your order includes a custom item, our customer service team will proactively contact you with the most accurate production and shipping timeline.
Service Areas, Hawaii, Alaska, and Rural Delivery Policies
- Continental United States: We proudly ship to all 48 contiguous states. Free standard shipping applies to orders over $99.
- Hawaii and Alaska: We happily serve customers in Hawaii and Alaska! Due to significantly higher carrier costs, shipments to these states are subject to additional freight charges. You will see these charges calculated transparently during checkout before you complete your purchase. There are no hidden fees added later.
- Rural Areas: Deliveries to locations designated by carriers as “rural” may also incur a modest delivery surcharge. This fee is not applied after the fact—it is always calculated and displayed upfront during the shopping process.
- International Orders: At this time, Pristine Mobility only ships within the United States. We cannot ship to PO/APO boxes, the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, or Guam.

What is your policy for damaged shipments?

- White Glove Service: Our technicians inspect the item upon unboxing. If any damage is found, they will halt the process and contact us directly to resolve the issue for you immediately.
